After the initial consultation it will be easier
to assess how many sessions you may need. Generally, the majority
of problems such as anxiety, phobias, weight loss etc. can be assisted
in less than eight sessions, whereas how to stop smoking is treated
in one session.
Each session is individually tailored to the person's needs. Techniques
will be used which are felt to be the most appropriate for your
needs and that enable you to make changes as quickly as possible.
Techniques may include Relaxation, Visualisation, Assertiveness
Training, NLP, CBT, Regression Analysis, Desensitisation, EMDR and
Counselling.
It is not always necessary to use formal hypnosis to achieve
the desired results, as the therapist has a wide range and
depth of knowledge and experience. |
